CRMC Calendar: Lunch & Learn - Nicotine Addiction

WHAT: Capital Region Medical Center is hosting a lunch and learn titled, Nicotine Addiction from Juuling & Vaping: An Examination of Health Risk. 

WHO: Presenting on the topic is Kevin D. Everett, PhD, Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Missouri. 

Dr. Everett has a longstanding interest in behavior chance interventions addressing tobacco use and has developed approaches that are effective at reducing health risks at the individual, family, systems or community level. He has expertise and experiences in smoking cessation treatments, including developing interventions at clinics, hospitals, schools and community centers. His approaches capitalize on translating existing evidence-based approaches to vulnerable, hard-to-reach or under-served populations. 

WHEN: Wednesday, July 11 from 12:10 to 12:50 PM

WHERE: Oakview Conference Room at Capital Region Southwest Campus, 1432 Southwest Blvd., Jefferson City, Missouri
