JEFFERSON CITY, MO - Capital Region Physicians - Center for Mental Wellness is pleased to announce that Nicole Borrenpohl, APRN, CNP is now a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner- Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) which allows Borrenpohl to expand her practice to include children. This is an additional certification for Borrenpohl as she is currently Board Certified to care for adults and adolescents.
The ANCC board certification for a Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is a competency based examination to test the entry-level skills and knowledge of a nurse practitioner. Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements to take the examination and successfully pass the examination to receive the credential.
