CRMC Calendar: Lunch & Learn on Exercise as Medicine

WHAT: Capital Region Medical Center is hosting a Lunch & Learn titled, “Exercise as Medicine.” Inactivity and stress contribute to several chronic diseases. Understanding the risks of sedentary lifestyles and learning new strategies to increase physical activity and exercise can reverse many risk factors and increase overall wellness. The Sam B. Cook Healthplex encourages and promotes exercise as a means for improving overall health while reducing the risk of chronic disease. This event is sponsored by The Partners Auxiliary.

WHO: Damon Motely, Exercise Specialists at the Sam B. Cook Healthplex, will be presenting on the topic.

WHEN: Wednesday, August 2 from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m.

WHERE: Oakview Conference Room at Capital Region’s Southwest Campus, 1432 Southwest Blvd., Jefferson City, Missouri
