JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Capital Region Medical Center is pleased to welcome Manav Nayyar, MD to Capital Region Physicians – Internal Medicine.
Dr. Nayyar received his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India. He completed an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at St. Joseph Hospital-UIC – Chicago, IL and a rotating residency in the Department of Endocrinology at the University at Buffalo – Buffalo, NY. Dr. Nayyar completed his Post-doctoral Endocrinology Fellowship training at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Prior to joining Capital Region Physicians, Dr. Nayyar served as the Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine for the Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Missouri – Columbia. Additionally, Dr. Nayyar has served as an Academic Hospitalist (Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Iowa & Des Moines University) at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa.
Dr. Nayyar has language fluency in English, Hindi and Punjabi. His hobbies include working on educational projects, reading and do-it-yourself computer hardware. He is also a published author.
