JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Capital Region Medical Center’s Sam B. Cook Healthplex is hosting a Balance Day on Friday, April 5 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
The free balance screenings will be conducted by physical therapists to assess balance and determine fall risk. Exercises will be given to improve stability, help everyday function and decrease your risk for falls.
The Sam B. Cook Healthplex Fitness Center offers many classes and training options that can help improve flexibility, muscle endurance and balance. Twenty-minute demonstrations will be offered in Group Fitness Studio, located in the lower level of the Fitness Center. Information about membership and training specials will be available as well.

- 2:00 p.m. – Sit & Stretch
- 2:30 p.m. – Functional Fitness
