JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Capital Region Medical Center is pleased to welcome Michael Sands, D.O. to Capital Region Physicians – Internal Medicine.
Dr. Sands received his medical degree from the University Of Health Sciences College Of Osteopathic Medicine – Kansas City, MO. He then completed his internship and family practice residency at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach – Long Beach, CA.
Prior to joining Capital Region Physicians, Dr. Sands most recently served as the regional medical director of Advanced Correctional Healthcare – Peoria, IL.
Dr. Sands has been a member of the Jefferson City community for over twenty years. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and other family as well as traveling, attending concerts, hunting, fishing and camping. He is also a classic car enthusiast.
