JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Highlighting Nurses Week, the 2017 Excellence in Nursing Awards were presented to six deserving nurses at a reception on May 9, 2017. Recipients of this award were nominated by their nursing peers, as well as administrative staff and physicians.
These nurses reflect attributes that are necessary to be great in nursing: teamwork, compassion, respect, integrity and a strong desire to heal, just to name a few.
Nurses from various departments were bestowed this honor. The recipients included:

Tonya Randazzo, RN – Intensive Care Unit

Kristen Warnol, RN – Home Health
Mayor Carrie Tergin presented a Nurses Week Proclamation at the event to honor all nurses throughout the week of May 6 – 12.
