WHAT: Capital Region Medical Center is hosting a presentation titled, Fasting for Health, Wellness & Disease Prevention. Fasting has been part of many cultural traditions for thousands of years. Only now have we unlocked the science behind the benefits of fasting for health and wellness.
We will discuss the science behind the health benefits of fasting, including weight loss, prevention and treatment of diabetes, lowering cholesterol, reducing inflammation, improving autoimmune conditions (including rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis) and benefits for brain health, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
There will be time for questions and answers at the end of the presentation.
