Capital Region Expresses Gratitude in the Aftermath of Tornadic Storms

Stepping back from the destruction caused by the recent severe weather and tornado activity, we are encouraged, inspired and proud to see our community rally for one another.

We are extremely grateful there were no major injuries and we extend our gratitude to our emergency response personnel for their dedication to service to our community. In addition to our local law enforcement, fire department and emergency response services, we have been blessed with an outpouring of assistance from neighboring communities. Thank you to all the agencies from across Central Missouri and beyond for helping our city, the Capital City, through this difficult time.

Thank you to all of our fellow health care organizations for reaching out and asking “What can we do?” We are humbled and tremendously blessed to work in an industry that will come together in the spirit of collaboration for the greater good!

Most of all, thank you to the CRMC staff from every area of the organization for ensuring we were properly staffed and everyone was cared for. Thank you for not knowing what may come but being prepared for anything. You are the breath that brings Capital Region Medical Center life.

There's much work to be done, but there are many hands willing to do it! We are proud to serve Jefferson City and surrounding communities, including the Eldon area, and our hearts go out to all those who are displaced or are facing long road to rebuild. Working together, we can get through this. We will be Better. Every day.
